I work sundays loads of times cause I AM THE TECH.
Not to mention after hours and well into the night. And when I aint there Im still there monitoring machine programing till its right. After that its to watch marked/flaged alarms to reduce them.

Not near enough. Anywhere between $1400 and $2000 every two weeks. If I wanted to move a little farther east or west of where I am I could make twice as much. But the cost of living is also a good bit higher in those places too. On the bright side we are getting raises fairly often and maybe soon we will catch up with the others.

my company has it's vice grip on my nut almost every saturday in the summer. Winter usually brings at least one free week off over Christmas

The good thing is that I accrue PTO time and can have a weeks vacation every four or five months.
