Thanks! I ended up having no choice but to get a whole new setup because of the cracked motherboard in my laptop (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to itriddla wrote:nice transistors there scoot
). I went w/ this, based on my budget:
Athlon 3500+ w/ HT
1GB RAM
GeForce 7800 GT OC
MX1000 mouse
Had to skip the flat panel monitor to upgrade from the shit ATI card that came w/ the machine and I'll add more RAM when I get extra money, too. The report for the 3500+ says it runs Doom3 comparabble to a P4 3.6gHz (90+ FPS) and I've always loved my Athlons, so I went in that direction....
Hey, now that I have a setup back we can start trading music.....

I will admit that a man was present and did indeed remove the case, but I insisted on doing the honors myself. Of course, he kept eyeing up the card like he was gonna sacrifice it to the gods of WoW, so I installed it really quick before he could get it into his system!!seremtan wrote:
