Anyone still play this game?

A few co-workers were just talking about it, I heard the "free" part and just finished installing it. Will give it a go tonight. :icon14:

It's great fun.

It was great fun in 1999. It's a bit to old for me now though.

it fucking blows

well, this is the first rpg or mmorgpz whatever they are called, for me to play. I couldn't even figure out how to turn the damn game off.

I thought swat 4 had alot of buttons, but s4 doesn't even come close to this. It seems like it might be fun to play once I get the basics down, but I'm not going to be able to play this like most other games I've bought. (install, jump in and play).

Owners manual time

It's a very deep game, and the content is through the roof, but for me the graphics are just to far outdated.

I got tired of the graphics and sold my characters on e-bay for close to $300.

Oh by the way, this is not a good game for beginners. I'd have to say that it's by far the hardest MMO game out there.

well, I figured out how to control my guy and stuff. But after reading some guides it says to stay in the area where you spawn until atleast level 10. I found the first door out and now I'm on some island.

Should I go back? If so, how...I think the plane that took me there crashed. I spawn on a broken ship of some sort on the bank of an ocean or something, but I swear I got there through an elevator. :/

The game seems fun so far, but it's just...kinda, blah. It's like I'm just thrown into this world and told to do fuck all. Wich is actually cool, but I have no clue what to do.

I'll never buy another funcom game again in my life. I bought that pile of steaming shit the day of release and I think I managed to play it a total of 10 minutes the first 4 day's I had it due to really bad servers and extremely choppy graphics. Game crashes every 2 min's.

Yeah I was pissed, obviously they fixed most of those issues by now but back then it was quite litteraly anarchy online. I'll never buy another funcom game again.
