They are not going to harrass the citizens that are not commiting any crimes. The groups that started the chaos have broken into gun shops and are mostly armed at this point.

The stupidity of people like you is sickening.

Some of the people are armed and they are killing other people for a bag of ice. This is causing even more people to aquire guns so they can shoot back. There are riots in the streets. People are getting beaten to death, raped and robbed. How else are you going to bring order to this chaos? You can't threaten them with a fine, they have no money. You can't threaten with jail, that'd be better than what they have now. You should really come up with a better solution for the problem, before you criticize. And I'm talking about the way they could have avoided this situation. I'm talking about a way to fix the problem at hand.

Maybe if they had food they wouldn't be killing for it.

moron alert...some ppl just got shot in houston last night for no good reason...and LA and new york and chicago...but the police didn't just stop working. there are no riots in the streets. all these media reports of violence r way overhyped. only 1 cop was shot in nawlins. most the other reports were actually just hearing gun fire while they were rescuing ppl. then media morons take it and says its out of control to cover up the failures of the authorities to save ppl and respond. prolly being directed by karl rove and the govt controlled media...
