Damn modders could of upgraded the pc version a long time ago with properly sized images. You know, 1024 and up. Yep, could of have done all 102391351353 screens in a snap...

You see, thats something i'll never understand about the old days of Resident Evil 2 on Dreamcast and PC...
Why is it that, even though they had the source backgrounds still in high resolution, 32bit colour, even the background models, that they just couldn't release the DC/PC version with better looking backgrounds...???
I dunno... Then again, why didn't they ever release RE-Birth and RE4 on PC...
Tis a shame...

Well where they really in high-res during development? I've had the impression that since the psone did something like 400xsomething or 300xsomething that's the size the artists always worked with.
