The video itself was pretty gay, but it looked kinda fun. Don't know how all the sneaking around would play with random idiots on the Internet, but if you have a bunch of friends to play with, it can probably be fun.

I doubt I'll be buying it though.

That server discriminates against non-scandinavians!

Yeah, what's up with that. Wasn't there a patch coming out at the end of this month or something?

You guys are aware that expansion packs for games never do good right? This will at best have a fraction of the players and servers that the original game has. I dunno, maybe people are just fed up with bying the medicore shit all the time, regardless if it's ea or any other company. if you buy this you are essentially going to have a product that will be in decline from day one. The player base will filter down and decline rapidly.

Add to that, a mod community could very well make a mod just like it, and probably do it better. Just wait for something good to come out for BF2, something along the lines of desert combat.

yea, just look at Diablo1 and 2, Baldurs Gate1 and 2, Serious Sam, to name a few!

I wouldn't consider Diablo 1/2, BG 1/2, SSFE/SSSE as expansion packs. Sure they are built on the same engines and are almost identical to the originals, but they where sold as 'sequels' no? Maybe with the exeption of Diablo 2 LoD.

I like SP expansions don't get me wrong and they are somewhat popular (just look how much all of The Sims addons have sold), but when it comes to MP-driven xpacks, those have not done so well.

Truth.
