Good evening my friends.
Yes, me again with another topic.
What is your current home page?
Mine used to be
http://www.marketwatch.com/news/default.asp?siteID=mktw
But now I use this one from my ISP, I don't know if you have something alike in other countries.

why is it "about:blank" on windows machines? My mac just shows an empty address bar when you check that preference option.

That's what it's supposed to do, so when you open your browser it doesn't load a site automatically.

I'm old-fashioned and i just leave it as Yahoo! because my entire life is in that account: Addresses, pictures, birthday reminders, etc....

For all the people using about:blank as their homepage, to have IE open with the address field blank a la Firefox simply add -nohome to the target field of the shortcut ( Right-Click on your IE shortcut - > Properties). The target field would look like this "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -nohome

That makes absolutelly no sense. Why would a web browser hang when there's no site loaded?

about:blank here.
