http://www.blueyonder.co.uk/blueyonder/ ... evenfaster

My service will go from 2mbit to 10mbit at no extra cost. Hows that for customer service? ;)

Is this a result of competitors doing the same, or is this something BY is spearheading?

I love the part where DSL lines don't gett any fucking faster at the same cost and the part where I'm stuck in an area that doesn't have cable.

Oh bollocks.

Yep, I was considering upgrading to that service actually, but i'm glad I didn't now. This is like the 3rd major upgrade in 12 months. I can't fault BY... its a superb ISP.

Jammy bastard, only being upgraded to 20 times faster than what I'm about to order.

10meg is gonna rawk my ping :D Its gonna be great to host some games too.

Its about time really. Bulldog was offering what, 8meg for £30 for ages now, so its about time they changed BY's.

I'm really happy about this, £35 is a nice chunk of money still, but it saves £15 a month that will go on other bills, making my life easier.

Hey, we can't complain. Its still an improvement.

But yeh, despite the UK coming out of its broadband stone-age, we're still a little behind the times with regards to upstream.

Our providers are doing upgrading aswell. It's already possible for alot of people to get a 20/1Mbit connection for only 40 euros here. Before the end of the year they'll have 80% of the Netherlands covered. :icon25:

I wouldn't change just yet. Versatel is the only one that offers it at a low price at the moment, but I've heard alot of complaints, so untill they get theyre shit sorted i'd stick to ADSL1.

The KPN network will be upgraded to ADSL2+ before the end of the year.

Your upstream isn't changing and your ping is unrelated to throughput. :icon27:

versatel's 20mbit line doesnt even reach half its speed on average.
