Will there ever be a doom 3 co-op mod for the main game?

Folks who program mods or know of such things -
Can we ever expect a mod for the PC version of D3 that would allow folks to play through the single player game in a co-op mode?

There is one. It's just very very bad. I think it's called Last Stand or something.

Yeah, that plays Doom 3 SP maps.
However, remember, its IMPOSSIBLE for it to work. You just cant have coop in Doom 3, same as RtCW. id said so.

I've never even bothered looking into the D3 sdk. Maybe I'll piss around with Q4 (doubtful).

I would personally like to remodel all the characters from Q3A and put them into Q4.

the last one i saw that let you load the sp maps in mp was a pretty bad hack-job.
whats the working one?

Best id interview ever. As soon as Willits (I think) said that there was talk about it but we didn't really want it, i just laughed and then nearly cried... How out of touch ARE id these days...

They're getting fucking old man. I was watching the Willits and Raven guy talk at Quakecon and I asked myself why these guys weren't out front mowing their lawns.
