Chinese musical instrument

I just watched Kung Fu Hustle (awesome flick) and there was one scene where this guy plays a string instrument. It looks like this:

It sounds really nice and melodic, so I wanted to find out more about it. A little bit of Googling and I find that it's an ancient Chinese instrument with 6 strings called a guqin (or qin). There's a similar instrument with 25-32 strings called a guzheng (or zheng) which looks like this:

Here is an .mp3 sample of the guzheng, played by Liu Fang, who is apparently a musician who specializes in it. I might just buy a CD of hers.

Anyone know of this instrument or like anything by Liu Fang? Figured I'd share one way or the other. :)

Was wondering if he meant that. Yeah that's a great instrument. Good movie too.

I learned to play the quzheng while I was in Hong Kong. Was never any good.

The notation confused the hell out of me.
