The small/large intestine combined is just over 7 meters long, and I think the vessels is like 50,000 miles or something.

These statistics are fucking stupid. Did you know if you take something that's very compressed, then estimate it's length uncompressed, it covers more area!?

Here's something more impressive.
Take a really really huge sheet of paper, and fold it in half 100 times (assume that the material can be folded this many times)
how thick would the resulting fold be?
it's roughly the size of the universe.

Seen this before. It's insanely thick. 7 was the limit on actually folding a sheet of paper if I remember right.
