So I ordered an ipod and I've been watching it on the fedex tracker thingy. It spent a day in China, came over to Anchorage Alaska (which is right fucking next to canada), and yet today it is all the way down in Tennessee. What the fuck is up with that?
I'm sure there's some retarded illogical reason to do with customs or summat but still, I want my gaypod.

Is there no Apple store in Canada? Why did you order it from over seas?

I think Apple has a distribution center in Tennessee.. they're probably reshipping it out of there. I don't know if that makes you feel any better, but it gives you a possible explanation

Maybe they have a big sorting facility in TN. If they don't have enough to go strait from AK to wherever you live, then they could stick it in with the stuff going to TN, and all the stuff from everywhere else goes with it from TN to Canada.

How much space will that take up? Roughly how many gigs is a goat?

There is a FexEx hub in Nashville, but I doubt they would route it all the way here just for that - there are hubs all over the country.

Seriously? Is there a way to change the firmware or something to allow higher quality music? Is that just for certain countries or something?

Ebay, lol... My missus got me a Athena Marine Quake 2 figure from there... Well, tried to. She bought it 2 months ago, and we have been waiting for it since. we emailed them asking where it was, and got no reply. Anyway we got an email today, saying "yeah, well we was going to send it you out this morning, but you said you didn't want it so we didn't. Heres your money back".

YEH. THANKS GUYS.

Where did you hear that? The only one i heard was that there was a forced update to control the VOLUME of your ipod, not the quality ;)

Apple has a distribution center in Tennessee.. they probably get thousands of them shipped there from China where the break out the shipment, send you your ipod and replenish their DC.

The first track of it is probably a crate of a bunch of them and at the rediculous price you pay for them they are probably air shipped from the Chinese Military Industrial Complex to the US of Gay by air.

I meant that if they limit it to 64, then would there be a way to change the firmware back, so it will actually play decent rates again?

Apparently it's a moot point now anyway, but surely you didn't think I meant 64 was 'high quality'? :p
