Q3A for free

Some body locked the post, but maybe the guy was looking for the free demo of Q3A. It is somewhat difficult to find a working link. We all downloaded it in 1999, didn't we?

He was talking about using the mousewheel to change weapons in q3a discussion. I assume he has the demo.

It's been available on id's site since forever.

If they still play, most play mods.
When the Q3 source is finally released, a lot of mods will release their games through those means. The only problem is they'll have to recreate a lot of assets (like models) unless id gives them permission to use Q3A assets.

Linkage? I went there (it's the first place I went) and looked around. Their Downloads page with Demos link is "under construction."
