you could visit the village i used to live in, sherington.

also give olney a visit, a really classy old english town.
oh and visit the aston martin factory in newport pagnall (dunno if they will let u in or not, but act like a rich yank wanting to buy a car and they might do)

If you should visit Cambridge, then drive some extra miles and visit the cathedral in Ely. IMO one of the most beautiful ones in England.
