WHen you run liveupdate (or when it runs automatically) it does a check on your Windows serial number to make sure it's legitimately registered/activated.TheRealZimbabwe wrote:What is it MS has started doing? If it's not, you just can't download updates. It does nothing to disable your system (at this point).

Theres some program that MS has for pirated software.. like if you just say it came from "bob the pirate" and send them your bootleg, they will front you a legit one or some shit..
