Last night.
Gotta love free tickets to San Diego's Street Scene.
Now, I love the White Stripes. I was expecting them to be a good show. Jack seemed a bit fucked up, but god damn was it a great performance! I fucking loved it. Perfect end to an awesome night.
After they performed, they walked off stage and a few hundred people left while everyone else was still standing around. Then Jack and Meg walked back on stage for an encore performance of Seven Nation Army and man did that get people hyped.
Flogging Molly was excellent as well. Some people got a bit out of control in front of us, so it's hard to really watch the show when you're keeping an eye out for people to come crashing into you. But we still had fun.
Kasabian was okay. We were kinda far away for them, so we weren't really into the atmosphere of it.
Also caught the end of the Black Eyed Peas which I could have lived without. But I guess the Fergie Ass-Cam (TM) made it worthwhile. lol
I wanted to see Garbage, even if just to see Shirley in person once and maybe catch a song or two. Oh well...
Going back again tonight, free again. Planning on seeing Death Cab for Cutie, Flaming Lips, Von Bondies, and the Pixies.
