this might seem far fetched but maybe the snake's skin/scales work pretty good as an insulator, and got shocked only when his mouth tissue made contact with the wire

snakes freak me out, especially big ones which eat deer and elephants. Fuck that, I'm glad it's dead.

that's not true: my brother trusts me with his two cats and one of my best friends trusts me with his 2 dogs and 1 minipig. I would never hurt them, but I would also never swallow them after crushing their bones.
