Traded in like 15 xbox games that I never play and got a cube, controller, wavebird, memory card, metroid, ssx3, resident evil, and mario party 5. I wanted Killer7 but they make you pay 1/2 cash for systems and new games so I'll just wait till I'm done with these games and pick it up used with my $12 credit.

Besides the other RE games what should I pick up? (I need some girly games for my gf too. I've got her started but I can never find anything she has a desire to play.)

Get the metroid prime games, start with the first not echoes. Also get the super monkey ball games, they're pretty good if you're with a bunch of friends

Rogue Leader and Rebel Assault, best graphics around, pretty much even still today. Fucking hard as hell though, but amazing to play.

Luigis Mansion, FANTASTIC fun than beats the shit out of sunshine. DOne even bother with sunshine, you will just sit there saying "WHY??!?" all the time.

Resident Evil RE-Birth, RE2-3-CV Ports, and RE4. You need to own at least two of these. Make those two RE-Birth and RE4 and you will win. RE4 is such a good game.

Mario Party 4, for partay action! NOTE: Needs friends.

Metroid Prime / Echos - Amazing games, one of the best games thats moved from 2d to 3d and WORKS. You will find yourself playing all day.

Zelda Wind Waker, and soon to be Twilight Princess - Wind Waker was a good game. Not amazing, but it was only let down because people hoped it would be OOT again, but it just wasn't. Fantastic game that needs to be played however.

Mario Kart - Fantastic Fun if you have mates around.

I saw a combo pack in walmart yesterday that had RE and RE0 together for like 27 bucks.

Mehbee I'll look into getting a game cube for Red..I want her to try some gaming...I need to get her something not as violent as I like ...but I dont have anything that doesnt invlove killing, car jacking or mechs. The GC seems to have alot of " softer" games...

Meh, the gamecube sucks as a console but it does have a few, very few, good games that are worth playing if you like the oldschool games like Metroid. I solely got the gamecube for Metroid.
