So, I've downloaded the 1.1 update from many different sources, confirmed that my version of Windows was set to the English language, and checked to make sure the game was indeed the English version...

When I try to install the patch I recieve the error:

Incompatable Language Versions

The language versions of SWAT 4 and this patch are not the same. This patch can not be installed.

This a known issue or what's the deal? After turning up a few search results I can't find that anyone else is having this problem...anything else I should check for?

Try the UK version.

I have Raven Shield and I installed the UK version of the patch.
Took a few downloads until I figured I would start trying other versions.

hmm, looks like I have to download from fileplanet on this one...

ha, welp. Hope it works. I really could care less about the patch, but whenever something doesn't work the way it should I freak out and can't stop thinking about it... :icon32:

Holy shit this game kicks some ass. In the second level after cuffing the old fat lady in the living room I ran down stairs with my team to find a girl tied up and being recorded. So I go a little further and hear the dude talking and some girl talking like something was tied around her mouth.

It seemed as though they where on the other side of the wall...O_o, so I fired a few rounds into the wall just kind of in a *pissed off action* that I did all that walking only to walk into a dead end.

The wall busts open and a fat dude ran towards me, so I just started spraying and ended up hitting one of my guys. :lol:

I about shat in my pants right there, I felt like a little 5 year old girl playing her first hide and go seek game.

Very good game though!

I know reefsurfer has already talked about this game (duhhh) but I just wanted to point out that I'm a little over the *recommended* requirements. Have a 2.7Ghz with 2Gigs of ram and a TI4400 128Mb card. The screens above are on Medium detail and the game runs perfect. Runs fine on High settings but I would rather have the extra 10 - 15 frames than a few extra shadows and marks on the wall.
