Did you ever run into the problem where PS would crash at startup when it says in the splash screen "reading global text resources" ? It happened to a colleague of mine two weeks ago and now it happened to me. It seems there's no solution to fix it other than reinstalling Photoshop. Anyone know what's causing this or how to fix it?

Yes, because software companies spend millions on and everyone from a shitty paint user to high end graphics artists use, is definatly filth.

oh and yay I fixed the problem. Apparantly deleting the preferences file did the trick (C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop\9.0\Adobe Photoshop CS2 Settings\Adobe Photoshop CS2 Prefs.psp)
