How about just a glass (or plastic) tinted door with an OLED overlay display over the entire door that shows not only the controls, but a video signal tied into a database of recipe videos and/or the Food Channel?

About the keyboard: Get rid of Function keys already. Make alt-1 = F1. Out with the old.

Also, in America something like 70% (made up figure) of the people don't understand that in math * is the same thing as "x" for multiplication. Something needs to be done about that.

Perhaps the keypad Enter should just say "=" as well.

This keyboard is awesome, but the layout of keys definitely could use some work. The language key right next to escape smells like trouble. Function keys are stupid (Not just the keys, but where they are located is superfluous in the flow of modern computing). Directional arrow keys could be axed, and we can have a lengthy debate on backspace vs. delete.

Edit: I wonder if the keyboard can do DVORAK?
