Limited Ammo

I was just thinking, after playing some Halo 2 single player that the bot/AI enemies should not get the unlimited ammo that they do. Games have done just fine with it, but I think some game should have it so the ememy won't always lay down a ton of rounds that keep you pinned down. It would be nice to see this and then have an enemy run out of ronuds and have to pull out a secnodary weapon or go find a replacement.
What do you guys think?

It would be a wonderful practice. And then have them come and gut you with their knife.

That BF2 thing seems pretty cool, but I paid for BF1942 and was unimpressed, not going to pay for BF2

When you get close to a bot in BF2 they also tend to pull out their knives real quick instead of reloading their main weapon, i noticed.

There was a game i think i remember where they shot at me with an mp40 then dropped it and got out a pistol... One of those WWX games....
