They will NOT be fucked
There are to many different things you need todo to change this to get it to work.
Also, What are the parents that are lobbying this attack doing letting 10 year Timmy playin an 18 rated game?
Also, whats the difference between a 18 film with nookie and a game?

I'm ashamed to see that the lobbying is taking place in my own blue city.
I don't see how this "pushes it over the edge." The scenes don't show nudity; just motions. That hardly makes it worse than anything else that already is in the game, such as big purple dildos.

The internet should be banned because it contains graphic material. Videos should be banned because you can record porn on them.
Fuck lets just ban the sun too because of page 3.
Donny is bang on the money. If little timmies parents dont like what little timmy is playing, then next time he makes you buy an 18 rated game for him thats "just driving" tell him to "fuck off".

I "wrote" them a letter
My Letter:
I would like to comment on the situation with Gran Theft Auto : San Andreas (I will refer to this as GTA : SA). As you should be aware, as it it is stuck all over the box, GTA : SA has an 18 certificate. Now, this should mean that the kids that you are trying to protect should have NO ACCESS to this game what so ever. If parents are buying a game that is so obviously based on adult themes (car crime, gang killings and the such) then they need to be taken outside and a word should be spoken into their ear. Something along the lines of : Its says 18, Timmy is 10. Why did you buy this game that they shouldn’t be playing for another 8 years for them? Now you seem to be having problems with the fact that these children are being subjected to sex on the pc, but 3 mouse clicks on the internet can do this. You have a problem with a natural occurrence, sex, but have no problem with the little ones chain sawing someone’s head off? You do not however; seem to have a problem with an ADULT game being played by a CHILD in general? I don’t know which is more shocking, you rallying about a perfectly natural occurrence between a male and female that happens in every other type of media whether it be film, book TV program etc or the fact you’re complaining about it happening in a game which is clearly marked for adults. I have a younger sister of 13, and if she comes near my room and I am playing a violent game, be it a 15 or an 18, it gets turned off. Hold the “parents” that buy these games for their kids responsible. Not the adults that create games for adults.
I would be highly interested to hear any explanation of your actions.
Regards,
Carl Slocombe

good letter and i agree with every word but every time something like this happens there are always the same two sides making the same points. i'm afraid some people just want others to take over their own responsibilities, and are only too happy to thrust their bleeding hearts into the faces of legislators to see that it happens

The user HAD to download and install a 3rd party item in order to access this content. Functionally there's no difference between that, and someone creating a 3rd party mod which included nudity and posted it on the web.
Of course, we all know this.. But I doubt any reporter fortunate enough to interview one of the 'outraged' will put the above fact to them. That's the real scandal.

GG Donneh! Makes all the relevant points. Too bad there are plenty of people too fucking stupid to understand things like "personal responsibility" and "parenting".

Also agree on this. There's gonna be no case on this at all if they think about it for 5 minutes. If there will be a case it's all about media and how they appear, not the real issue. But aren't things always like that?

Yeah I know... There are some that say the word fuck came from that saying though. I don't know if it's true or not but apparently people weren't allowed to have sex unless they had consent of the king and that's how the word fuck came about. I doubt it's true though.

snopes :icon10:
I told this to about half my campus and they gobbled it up, the gullible idiots.

Oh, and it goes like this:
The highly religious king didn't want people screwing around for fun, just to have babies. So he banned sex unless permission was given in an audience. Once people had consent, they would hang a sign on their door that said "FUCK", which was short for "Fornication Under Consent of the King" so that passing guards wouldn't interrupt them and haul them to jail.
In reality, the work "fuck" originates from a german word, "flicken", which means to strike suddenly. Or something like that.
At least this is as much as I remember from when I snopes'd it earlier. LOL, that's like Googling, isn't it?

"If Rockstar Games denies that, then they're lying and I will be able to prove that," Wildenborg wrote in an e-mail. "My mod does not introduce anything to the game. All the content that is shown was already present on the DVD."
Wow, what a prick.
[edit]the german word is ficken, btw

I don't see why. There's nothing wrong with maintaining the truth.
The content is on the DVD, but you couldn't get at it without reverse engineering the game or downloading this mod from the internet.
Just because his quote has been taken and spread around in proximity to other comments about getting the game removed, taking legal action against Rockstar etc, doesn't mean he's doing it.
