that casket cam got me thinking of what some of you have planned for your body or your remains after you have passed away.

i'd like to donate some parts, being a pretty healthy specimen (for someone living in the States), but i want the rest of me to be cremated and spread over the Pacific off the coast of San Diego.

As much as I want to help someone with my organs, I think I would want all of my body in one place. So probably buried, or sent into space to orbit around some planet.

But if my plans succeeded, then Kremlin or transfer my brain into a computer.

As I said in the other thread, I really don't care what they do with mine. I doubt there will be much worth reusing, but they can have it. Stick me in a box, burn me, use me for research, doesn't matter I'll be dead and won't need it anymore.

i'd like to have whatever parts could be used, used--whether it be for medical students/research or for someone who might die without a good liver or whatever. afterall i wont have a need for them anymore. the rest of me can be burned to ashes and then my family can do whatever they want with them.

This thread sure brightened my day.

For me, yeah take whatever parts that can be used to help others. Then, burn or bury. Dont matter to me. But with my family Im sure I will be buried.

Burial in a casket is bullshit. Even cremation is overrated, but it's the cheapest alternative. I'll donate my body to science or something, but I don't really care, so long as my loved ones don't have to pay much for it.

I prefer to be cremated or buried; something just as long as I don't die in a humid swamp on a 100 degree day, where they find my dead purple bloated body 2 weeks after the gunshot wound to the head at the hands of my estranged wife who discovered the affair I was having with that girl I met at the my counsin's wedding, man she was pissed. I'll donate some organs too, but not the whole cadaver thing.

He's probably referring to all those people who say "being cremated was the best thing I've ever done for my body" as overrating the quality of the change.

I want to be the first stunt dead-man. Falling off a tall building? I'm in. Driving a flaming car off a cliff? I'm your guy. A secret agent man with a malfunctioning parachute? No one will top me.

Of course, my 'career' won't last long...I'll be looking pretty fucked up after just a movie or two.

I think they'd have a harder time hiring the workers who are in change of propping your smelly, decomposing body up for the scene. I'd also have worries about compensation... something tells me it ain't going to be that great. (ain't is a great word that helps me get my point across).

I'm putting most of it through the macerator, and I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the teeth. But you MUSTN'T tell the authorities I've got it.....

couldn't possibly care less about what they do with my body... won't be needing it. However if they could put my brain in another body so I can live another 60+ years, that would be awesome. :icon14:
