There goes next week... I live far away, but it always rains here when there's a hurricane.

Some people aren't leaving because they are 'tired' of evacuating. To me, that seems like a pretty stupid reason not to evacuate, especially if it hits as a category 4.

Sacrifice Jeb Bush in the name of Baal and you won't be touched. Hint: I'm not kidding.

Expect these increased intensity hurricanes in that region for the next few decades.

I've got an uncle and aunt in Cocoa Beach, so I watch these things pretty closely. So far the worst that's happened is he lost a front porch/patio, which is surprising considering where he lives:

Fortunately he's along the east coast, so this one shouldn't be too bad.

It's been an abnormal past two years. I'm sure if this keeps up for the next couple years they'll be an insurance crisis down there. I wonder if there is one already.

Is that that google program? That looks pretty neat. I feel an urge to download it, once I find out what the name of the program is and where I would be able to download the program. I hope someone will come along and help me.

Thank you for coming along and helping me find the name of the program and the location from where I may download it. I really appreciate it; it means a lot to me. The program looks really neat and lifelike; it's like you are on a helicopter above sealevel by about 1000 to 2000 feet, and you are looking down at an angle and you have before you a perspective of space and distance that is unlike what you may find in other map programs.

Wait till you type in a location and hit enter. You zoom in just like a super fast helicopter. Made my mother dizzy when I zoomed out from the Grand Canyon to Tokyo Japan. :p

Because of your description of a super fast heicopter, I may have to download this program and install it on my computer "super faster" than I ever expected before :)

Sorry, only slightly intended sarcasm here. I really am interested in it; I'm just in a Knowfury mode where I post an overly detailed description of the thoughts going on in my head.

Dis is how we doing in FL

Par for the course. All night it was like this, smooth peeling lined up lines. The offshore winds just made me stop out there and smile to myself cause it was so beautiful. I would pass up a break and it would curl behind me towards shore and the wind would blow back the spray. My camera sucks, but you can see what i mean in this pic.

More of the goods, nice long lines that gave you the time to ride it. I was liking it.

As you can see its big time crowded here at my favortie spot, if i snaped a image in the other direciton up the beach you would see no one, its awesome.

We like hurricanes here, especialy that glide right up the coast like this.

Hope the peeps in alabama are ok though.

Good luck to everybody there. Especially the idiots in the path who aren't evacuating.
