i played my first ranked game last night. had to quit before it was over BUT I GOT A SPECIAL OPS PATCH! OMG I WAS SO HAPPY!

do you lose points or anything if you have to quit before the end of the game?

I made 1776th place today.


Also, I'm not to sure how it works shadd. I won a same medal twice that was a once only kind, so maybe it's when you complete a level only.

No, but you lose your x2 bonus if your team wins.

My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache\

delete the folders in the cache dir. next time you start the game it will re-optimze the shaders. i guess sometimes it can fuck up.

Do any of you get the bug where after you get injured, sometimes an automatic weapon switches to semi-auto mode?

It kinda sucks and happens at some point every game.

I really have to find some extra time to play.

I forget what keys are what when I get back and play. LOL!

I enjoy the game and the teamplay though.

You toggle between semi and full auto by selecting the weapon you're currently holding (where applicable). So, if you want to switch to or from semi auto mode for your Assault rifle, just hit "3" as you're holding it.

lol your kill/death ratio sucks

i just bought the game 2 days ago and despite a huge amount of noobs tking me and letting my noob bro play, i still have over a 1.5/1 ratio....all from just rushing in to enemy bases rambo style

Well, it's not very hard to get a good kill ratio on a n00b server, is it?

Playing against good people is much harder, and you tend to get killed more often, but it's way more fun, because you get to experience this little thing called "teamplay".

Where do you play Grudge?
I'm frequenting the Battlefield.no servers atm, as per reef's suggestion. Pretty good players on there, nice teamwork action and stuff.
