Lotus make cool cars as well.
I drove (as a passenger) in the Lotus Elise of a colleague of mine. It's awesome. It was only a short trip and the highway was crowded, but he made me feel the acceleration when we turned onto the highway and he did some tight cornering at the parking lot. It's a really sweet car :icon14:

Looks very crowded though.. im 6.4" so i prolly wouldent fit in it.
btw, 7 of the 75 contestanst where pulled over by swedish police, 3 of them lost thier driving license.. but i doubt they care, they got phat wallets.. :icon34:

Over here in northamerica, they got the VVT 4AG form the Celica.... so it has just a little more torque then the Euro Counterpart, But overall, i would love to go for a spin in one, own one.. naa.. ill pass
btw, the 4AG is a fucking Ace engine.

Now did the Cannonball run come before or after the movie?
My question is did they make the movie based on the existing race or did the race come about because of the movie?

The race started in USA in early seventies, named after some guy with the nickname cannonball..
So the movie came long after.

yea, im fond of the 2nd gen Golf/Jetta chassis's...
if im not mistaken thats a Wolfsburg Golf right? most/all of the GTI's where made in Wolfsburg.. anyway, i got a 86 Wolfsburg Jetta GL Sitting in the Driveway.. fucking Solid Car..

And yea, those cars really feel solid...everything feels tight and in some way brutal... pure iron kinda feel... you know, when you pick up a leadpipe and hold it.. that feeling is what i get when i sit in my golf, same with my old porsche.
Solid is the right word... :icon31:
