"Ritual expects to release a new SiN episode every 3 to 4 months, offering about six hours of gameplay at a cost of around $20 per episode."
wtf?

$20 for 6 hours isn't that much, considering many full-priced products these days offer less than that. You can buy 3 episodes for one full priced product, which counts in 18 hours of gameplay.

Hey, if you got a paper round you could afford it. Or you could always ask the missus to up your housekeeping allowance.

Max Payne 2, Doom 3 if you run through it at high pace, Medal of Honor Allied Assault and probably more I can't think of right now

6 hours.... Wait a sec, you mean people BELIEVE what the devs tell you is the correct gameplay time?
Fuck that, it will probably be no more than 2 hours TOPS to any serious gamer out there.
What was it they said BIA had gameplay time wise? 14 hours? How many beat it in 4?

Plus they forget people only installed STEAM because it was HL2, you were FORCED to install steam. Nobody likes that pile of wank, people just "put up with it".
So yeah, install steam, and make people pay for an hours worth of game that they cant even back up anyway. woo.

There was a pic i found somewhere, i forget where it was...
Anyways, it used garrys mod, and it had two HL2 combine, one playing with a bottle, one looking at the wall. It said something like "Holy fuck these levels are ugly" and the other said "Yeah, but you can move this bottle around anywhere!" or something...
i.e. we get sin 2 with sin 1 levels but nice models and physics. Thats not so bad, but the HL2 engine is quite basic at maps. I couldn't care less about the maps, the graphics or the moving bottles tbh, because i probably wont even end up buying the game, because of htis episode thing. And if i do buy it, wow, i have to install steam. WOO.

Besides the bandwagon reflex action, what the deal with steam.
I never had a problem with it, ever. Would rather have a cd of the game, but to not buy it cause of steam, seems extreme.
Ill just be happy i can play sin, my only concern is that the feel of it will be stiff like HL2. Sin was very fast and loose, like q2/q3. Another question is, will there even be any MP. If not then thats a big selling or should i say, none selling point.

I never had any problem with steam and the quick updates and new content owns. I guess people don't want to be connected to steam in order to play single player games, but whatever.
