Some advice? Left ear is ringing

I went to a party Saturday night and got drunk and since then, my left ear is still ringing probably because I was standing near the speakers.
Should I go to the doctor or will it fade away in a couple of days? Everthing sounds a bit muffled.

if things are sounding muffled, that means that the skin ( also known as the ear Drum ) is trying to heal after some damage..
As long as your ears are not bleading, then you dident rupture at all.. ( a buddy of mine is on his 3rd set of ear drums )
the best thing to do is to actually grab some Ear plugs ( Choose your style ) and wear them for most of the day to give the ear drums a rest..
the best way to know if something is going to fuck your hearing up is to Actually plug your ears with your fingers, and if you are still able to clearly hear the music/whateve then its strgon enough to go through your skull and will infact hurt your ears.
Anyway, if you really want a profeshional opinion go to the Doc, i have been through this, and this is what i've done.
Anyway man, Take it easy.. and for the time being Avoid loud shit.

i had this a few times after returning late from clubs with really loud music.
the longest time it stayed was 2 days. if it's not gone by thursday i'd consult a doctor.
