Hey all,

I recently received a free printer from work, an Epson Stylus Photo 2100. Ie one of these beasts:

She eats 8 cartridges at time

Black, Cyan, Magenta,Yellow, Light Magenta,Light Cyan, Matte Black and Light Black

The official ones are quite expensive so im wondering if there is a cheap place i can purchase generic ones for this printer (UK)

Thanks

David

I'm not sure about the UK, but in the US they sell for about $8.00 each for the Epson replacements.

Word of caution though Ink fades within 6 months to a year and most of these generic refills are NOT sumdge free ink. If it's for every day printing it's cool, but for photos, go with the original inks...

Yeah, you're looking at buying refilled cartridges, the problems with those is they can leak, usualy are poor quality because the printheads are all used up from the previous ink that was in there although I've heard epson printheads are a little more durable than the HP ones they have lower quality. Least a few years ago they did I'm not too current on the info anymore. Generaly though, refills bad.
