Download the map here.

I know that this is mainly Quake 3 Forum, but you guys know more about CTF than D3 guys. So if you have D3, I would appreciate some feedback on gameplay and visuals.

ohhhhhhh i like!

Shame your pics are so small...

Anyways, anybody else think its a damn shame id wont just do what painkiller did and release the MP part of ROE (8 player limit, 4 extra skin colours, CTF mode and new maps) for FREE DOWNLOAD?

Its not like it would hurt doom 3's MP

Know why i like this? Because its sexy-ximple, a term i coined :P

Its got detail, but nothing sticks out and says "fuck you, i'm gonna make you stick to me". Its got looks, its got style, and its got LIGHTS. These kind of maps rock, because its just a dead great, down to Earth map.

just a damn sad shame that Doom 3 sucks MP wise, and id kinda know this and have let it die... All it needs is the MP stuff from ROE, some changed physics wise, none-per poly hit detection and custom PPM's and it would rock...

Thanks for the positive comments, o'dium. I think you can still run around the map in D3, but you'll have black cubes for flags and black planes for team signs and arrows.

Sorry, but I don't think there will be a Q3 version. I had a hard time implementing shiny D3 textures to create dark and gritty feel. It'll be even harder with Q3 vanilla textures.

This is very reminiscent of Quake 2 design. That is a GREAT thing.

Thanks, Eepberries. I like Quake 2 and especially Kingpin (based on Quake 2 engine) and think that both of those games had a great gameplay.
