It's got nothing to do with Doom, it has a different Storyline, different characters, it's not set on mars. They've just tagged the Doom name on to market another generic pile of horseshit horror action flick.

Looking at BoxOfficeMojo, TheNumbers, and Yahoo, it becomes clear that you're as full of shit as ever.
The Scorpion King made less than 40 million in its opening weekend. The TWENTIETH best opening weekend ever was nearly 70 million, and you're talking about it being twelfth. Not only that, opening weekends don't really mean shit: Scoprion King didn't even make it into the 150 top-grossing films of all time, so even if it had made a hundred million bucks on opening day, if everyone who saw it told all their friends it absolutely sucked [which is pretty much the case] and it never made another cent, who's to give a fuck how opening day went?
Its total domestic gross was 90 million. That's 90 million over 10 or more weeks. The 150th top-grossing movie of all time made 140 million. THat's more than 1.5 times as much. Christ.
