Slurpee music alert

I'll make this real quick.

1. Go to 7 Eleven
2. Prepare a fountain drink but use a Slurpee cup. If you're feeling daring, double or triple cup it.
3. Pay for regular fountain drink (Should be $0.50 to $0.80)
4. Enjoy fountain drink.
5. Enjoy iTunes music download.

If you're always on the run and need something to quench your thirst you can either spend $1.29 for a 20oz. bottle of water or $0.80 for a 44oz. tall cup of ice water with a song attached. Good deal. It all ends on July 31st, and you have until August 31st to redeem the music.

If you do it every day, it's very possible to get 300 songs in that timespan, all legal.

iTunes sucks big sweaty balls, but it's legal. (Speaking of which, if you have a girl's actual birth minute and second, and you jack off behind a drape when she's 17, 11 months, 31 days, 23 hours and 59 seconds, and then as soon as the buzzer hits you blow a facial on her, is that illegal? Edit: What if she was born in California and you did it in New Jersey on Eastern time? Edit: What if she was born in New Jersey, but you did it in California but on New Jersey time?)

Or you can just download it anyway and save the hassle.

That would cost $1.00

300 songs the iTunes way: $300

300 songs the 7 Eleven way: From $150 to $240, plus you get a drink which you were going to buy anyway.

Yeah but eventually they'll find everyone who stole music and retroactively rape you. Imagine having to pay a $10,000 fine when you're trying to pay bills in ten years.

But as chunk points out: itunes is a rip off here, why should we pay (albeit only) £0.40 more than the US.

Because of the digital import fee.

What fee? Transfer from apple server in the US -> My harddrive. Why does that cost more here?

They got to keep traffic flowing. They don't need a ton of Brits with inferior Internet connections bogging it all down.

From a poll I saw most people are now on 1mbit here, which isn't exactly snails pace Internet.

I legally (lol) buy all my musack from allofmp3 because I can't be bothered to go looking for it the old fashioned way. The Russian Mafia will steal my personal information, but oh well.

I wish the big labels would set up a download service that if you buy a CD you get a code that lets you also download it at full quality...

Or maybe have a standard CD version: $10.99 and a DVD-A version $13.99 that also has MP4s or something on there.
