I have the same problem, but I can't get all-seeing eye :
I downloaded the installer, but he never connects to the download server.
I don't know what the problem is, but I suspect it's because I use a router...
Can anybody help me? Does anybody have the same pb?

Thanks

Does it work when you remove the router (temporarily)?

Damn I have to read things more before I respond. Damn I have to
stop checking the forums when a customer comes in. LoL!

Its probably not the router thats preventing connection. Has your system recently been scanned for malware?

What do you mean by malware?
I just did a virus scan, and everything's clean if that's what you mean.

And I need the router to extablish an internet connexion....

i think he means spyware, trackers etc or malicious programs running at start-up ... not viruses.

Precisely. Download and scan with AdAware, Spybot S&D, or Microsoft Antispyware. Personally, I recommend MS' product the most.

You also don't need a router to establish an internet connection. That requires a modem. From the modem the ethernet cable connects either to a router or directly to your computer.

Allright, i'll try to sacn for all the spyware and cie but I've got something confused then because I have this big box that's connnected to the phone line and my computer, on which I can also connect a phone, a gameplatform (such Xbox)... and the modem is inside...

For those who know of this, it's the Wanadoo Livebox, but it's a french thing, I'm not sure it got out of the country...

So what's a router?

Sorrry for all that, but I'm VERY VERY tired of playing against bots...

Do you get a login screen if you go to http://192.168.2.1/? If the answer is yes, that's your router. It's a device that allows you to share an Internet connection.
