Battery life on a Laptop - Artificially extend it somehow?

I have an HP Laptop that lasts about 4 hours on full charge.

Is there any easy way to extend this? I want to play certain games that don't require a lot of processing power.

Turn down the screen brightness

Ventilate the base as much as possible.

Remove all unused PCMCIA cards and other peripherals.

Use headphones instead of built in speakers.

You're emulating, obviously. Most likely they use close to the same cycles and handles.

Anyway, plug it into the wall. If you're going to be sitting down for hours, you've got to be somewhere with electricity.

I'm taking a trip with "the family." Going to be in the car the entire time...

And yes, it is emulation :icon32: Know any good SNES games for a trip like that?
