i saw this before on channel 4. And yeah i think he does actually hypnotise this guy to think this is real. though i think he may have been hypnotised before he played the game to make sure it worked
it shows you a hell of a lot more on the show.

Derren Brown is amazing. Did anyone see the live thing he did where everyone who saw the show forgot what happened? He memorised the ENTIRE london A-Z, page by page, coordinate by coordinate.
He's an astonishing illusionist.
