Forward ports 27960 and 27950 UDP to your internal server IP.

i have set the ports to cover from 27950 to 27961 and i cant still cant see my server.but everyone else can.also im on one pc and the server is on another running through a router.i join my server with a 192 and everyone else joins 172???? and as i cant see my server on the net i dont know what ip to tell everyone, because if i loose connection through aol it changes my ip.

if you can understand that lot, your gifted lol

Start Q3, And go to Multiplyer and make sure you Select LAN, and it will find it.

that still only gives me the 192 ip and not the 172 that everyone else see????

i think i know what you mean, but if thats the case the answer is no,as ive changed internal ip to go between 02 and 54 thats why i have chossen an external ip of 99,because its outs the internal ip range

Your server needs to have a static (unchanging) IP address. Then you forward the ports from the router to it.

Well if you still have 27961 UDP forwarded (as you mentioned in your other thread about the same thing) instead of 27960 UDP as you were originally instructed then that would explain the problem.
