It's just outdated and mediocre all around.

I cant not use IE, thats jsut me i guess...
Anyways, tabbed browsing, yeah i've done it with FireFox, but whats the point? Why not just open a new window? How is it any better apart from cluttering your start bar?

thats about it. not cluttering your startbar
ofcourse winXP groups them into a pulldown so it doesnt have much use then

It's alot more usefull if you have Mozilla open as well as a bunch of other stuff. Like say you also have photoshop, winamp, and a couple windows explorer windows open.

I always have a lot of browsers open, because I have an anal habit of opening every link in a new window/tab.
With Firefox I can do that and still have easy access to any other apps I have open, and can have all my windows/tabs grouped by whichever site I opened them from.
I think it's great. It was only a matter of time before MS took the wonderful idea and put it in their crappy software.

I don't think MS will regain the Firefox market, Firefox is more reliable and has plugins etc.
Plus I hate the fucking fact that when IE crashes it takes explorer with it, and my sys tray.

In Maxthon.......
You can have groups, so I can put a bunch of forums in a group. Click that group name and they all open up.
You can also put your cursor on the tab bar and use your mouse wheel to switch between different tabbed windows.

I expected this kind of stealing from the monkeys at Mozilla, but Microsoft typically buys ideas like this. Too bad Opera is not for sale.
The best, period.

Are you kidding? MS only buys intellectual property when they absolutely have to.

Well, in your taskbar, the title for all your IE windows will be like "Internet Explorer", so it's basically impossible to tell two open windows apart.

Also, firefox doesn't open up another copy of itself like IE does..

this is not entirely true.
when you click IE from the startmenu or quicklaunch bar itll start another instance of IE. however, if you use New Window from within IE it wont.
try it with the taskmanager open (processes tab).

i always see the page title followed by "- Internet Explorer" (or "- Emka's Browse-o-Rama" at home).. ?

I have 23 tabs, and had more in Opera when I used taht, cause I could sort them vertically, not only horizontally
And in FF you can open all bookmarks you have in one folder in tabs by mouse3-clicking it. So every time I open FF I have no tabs which is great if I just wanna check one site, so it goes much faster to start it and get on the site instead of having to wait until all 23 tabs were loaded. And if I want to browse my 23 sites I just open FF and mouse3-click it
And not having lots of FF open in the startbar is very nice =)

It opens entirely new windows sometimes, if the html tells it to and you forget to use right-click/open in new tab...

Opera won't even import bookmarks from other browsers when you install it. Firefox does this.
