What are your life's ambitions? Here are some of mine, in no particular order:

1. Gain a fundamental understanding of at least a portion of mathematics.

2. Write at least one book

3. Get my black belt in aikido

4. Get my pilot's license(s).

5. Hangglide

6. Have a successful engineering career, then teach

7. Invent something

8. Practice Tai Chi

9. Sail around the world by myself

10. Raise my daughter to be a well-adjusted individual with sound judgement (most important)

Here are mine:

- become the senior programmer at the company
- get black belt in jujutsu
- be a good person, e.g. dont ever become bitter
- travel to Australia at least once in my life
- learn how to dive (and practice alot!)

Went bungeejumping a few weeks ago (will upload pics sometime if i remember to do so), and it was so insanely fucking cool it got me all interested in skydiving.

It's way more expensive though, and you have to jump with an instructor strapped to you the first time(s)... but you get a much longer freefall, which is gooooood.

I did a bungeejump 8 years ago and I'll never do it again, lol. I still have some scare of heights, especially when you're standing on a square meter platform 80 meters above ground.

Skydiving however.....should be really cool

I've never been bungee jumping either (but want to). The closest I've done was a ride down in Florida over spring break one year. It's a square metal basket big enough for two people to sit in. At the top corners there are bungee cords that stretch to the tops of super tall poles in the ground. They hand-crank you down to the ground to pull the cords tight, then lock the basket to the ground while you get in. Once you're strapped in, they pull the handle and the basket shoots about 300 feet in the air. It was pretty darn fun, you could see the tops of all the buildings in the city.

I guess everybody has to go tandem with an instructor the first time they skydive, so I'll probably have to do it at least twice, so I can go solo.
