My case mod is a scale model of a Star Wars TIE Fighter, with a computer built right into the cockpit. And, it's also a desk! The whole case is built from scratch. As a die-hard Star Wars fan, I knew my first mod would have to incorporate something from Star Wars, and I could think of nothing cooler than a TIE Fighter. I got the blueprints online and got to work.

It looks good but it's pretty impractical, he has almost nowhere to stretch his legs out.

stretching the legs doesn't look to be a problem. hitting his knees though...

By the way, how big of a turn-off do you think that desk might be if you brought a date to your place?
I remember a girl I dated in graduate school - one time I made the mistake of telling her I was going to a LAN party - after explaining what this was, she said it was about as appealing as thinking of me standing there naked in dark dress socks (but I happen to look very good that way, so I figure she was turned on by the LAN idea.)
