http://www.viewaskew.com/news/aug04/3.html
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Filmmaker Kevin Smith is set to direct his own screenplay of "The Passion of the Clerks," a sequel to his first film, 1994's "Clerks."

The sequel was written for the stars of the original film, Brian O'Halloran and Jeff Anderson. Smith also will make an appearance with longtime sidekick Jason Mewes. The story follows the Quik Stop convenience store employees of the original "Clerks" 10 years later. Principal photography is set to begin in January. Miramax Films will distribute.
I was watching a movie called Stealing Time and there was a scene in a convenience store. The guy at the register was played by who I thought was Jeff Anderson, but his name was Buddy, not Randal. Just to be sure, I checked IMDB and sure enough, he's in the movie. When I was at IMDB, though, I stumbled across "The Passion of the Clerks" in his list of movies, so I googled it and found the above link. Hopefully Kevin Smith won't fuck this up, because I'd love to see more Clerks. :)

Lol brilliant, that should be pretty funny. I'd be surprised if he doesn't make it too he's surprisingly adept at getting his movies made. At the end of the original Clerks you can see in the end credits to watch for J and Silent Bob in Dogma years before Dogma was ever made.

Huge fan of clerks too so this should be pretty cool :)

The one that looked like Christian Bale. :icon32:

He had slick black hair, worked as a receptionist, owned the apartment his friend with the blonde hair was staying at... Hell, he even SOUNDED like Bale.

Ahh, he was in that series 'Fast Lane'. It didn't last very long. Figured that's who you were talking about but wasn't sure.
