Microsoft has alerted consumers that Netscape's latest browser appears to break the XML rendering capabilities in Microsoft Internet Explorer
jesus fucking christ honushi what the fuck is wrong with you?

It would be a temporary workaround for those people who need IE XML functionality until they (MS and Nutscrape) write a patch to resolve the fact that (somehow) the Nutscrape installer fucked up IE's XML rendering capabilities.
Its hardly a conspiracy you moron.

I've already read that part you knuckleheads
The thing that's really bothering me though is that Microsoft doesn't appear to want anyone to use any browser other than their own

If it was like that, they would have fixed it where IE broke Netscape, not the other way around. :icon27:

No shit! Do you really think so?!?!?! What a concept, a business wanting customers to use their product instead of the competitions. Microsoft is surely the only business on the planet to want such a thing.

Well, in all fairness, Microsoft's business tactics could easily be called predatory without too much of a stretch.

Oh of course. I'm not disagreeing with that at all but my point is that many businesses would be the same if they had MS' amount of power and financial resources.

There's no way I'd go back to IE. Netscape = no thanks. Opera = load of arse. Firefox = :icon14:

But another reader, Chris Beach, came to Microsoft's defense. "Cue endless conspiracy theories about Microsoft's 'dirty tactics.' Honestly, the rubbish you (Microsoft) have to put up with...my heart goes out to you guys. Keep up the good work with IE 7," he said.
Lol, piss off.
I've got nothing against MS, but telling people to uninstall stuff is plain idiotic.

look, netscape 8 doesn't function properly
as a matter of fact, there are some things about it that behave in a malicious manner
internet explorer sucks, but just because it sucks doesn't mean netscape can get away with writing software that fucking breaks it
