The problem with these so called photo realistic graphics is that they always show a tad alien environments. Yes, the environment shown could be on our planet, but no one has regularly (or even ever) seen such an environment in real life. Your frame of reference for images like these basically doesn't go beyond what you've seen in movies, television and games, which are all either CGI or post processed in some way.
Your brain has been trained to accept that this is what such an environment looks like in real life, so when you see this video, your brain is quick to accept it is life-like.
Do a similar video on a normal, every day city or your own living room and the illusion will fall apart.

I'd rather have a cartoonish look an realistic physics/dynamics in a level. The unreal engine is kinda garbage when it comes to multiplayer gaming.
