The thing that gets me is, why would anyone oppose it? Any small (and it is small) move that can help contribute towards stopping kids getting too fat and unhealthy is surely a good thing.

Course it is, as fucking ridiculous as it is. I guess governments and such are more contenton spending money on treating fat fucks with type 2 diabetes than paying up front and stopping the source.

We don't solve problems - we treat sysmptoms. Usually by force.

Get with the program.

It would apply to all schools with children up to the age of 17.
If it were in Kentucky, most of the fourth graders and up could still eat whatever they wanted.

In all honesty, this is just another example of school systems trying to do something that really fucking shitty parents aren't.

i recently realized that low income people here in germany complain so much about expensive food. fact is: most of the just buy instant meals instead of cooking them for themselves.

i think if everybody knew how to cook, people would be less fat and would definately be have some more money.

oh, but everyone has such a "full" schedule that they don't have time to toast a pop tart and zap fry it in the microwave on their way out the door.

laughable, people's excuses for not eating properly.
