Quake3World

I remember the old members back in time. brisk (who did my icon), PhoeniX (shared his quake3 settings with me), Foo, biblethumper, Giraffe Hunter, Turb and many many more. I take it all have moved on. I mostly hung out in General Discussion, and also in Technology and Troubleshooting (with axbaby).
I remember playing against Duhard 1 time and lost something like 10-3. Even when I lost had fun playing it.
After quake3 couldn’t really get into any other games. Now, my boys will ask me if they can play q3arena

There were times over the years where I couldn’t login and servers were fucked or something. Emailed raw a few times. Only thing I could do was lurk.
Finally, I asked my wife last night where are the fucking passwords, and was finally able to login.

What’s funny is that there are people still joining. Some of the funniest shit ever was said here. I tried searching for the Geoff thread about Germany and France. Nuked. I just got done reading the workout thread (100+ pages) posted a few years ago. Both informative and funny at times. Same shit being said back and forth.
I have 2 young boys now, so I have to be careful (when not in school) keeping this page open because shit can escalate quickly here, as you well know.

I was always busy. Work, school, satisfying an ex- girlfriend at the time, and other hobbies (building pc’s for friends and family). Playing q3 during any free time. No time to really sit in front of a message board. If I had an office job I would have had this site running in the background and my post count would definitely be up there in the thousands.
It’s all cool. Now, if anyone (not really anyone here anymore ) they comment about my reg date it don’t matter. I’ll just call em a faggot
