also a warning about what happens when faith is elevated above reason (secular as well as theological faith)

Surprisingly interesting with lots of detail. A little hard going to start but certainly worth a look. ... I'd never heard of the Islamic Golden Age and hadn't realized the Turks and Mongols had such an influence in the time.
