Honestly there aren’t bad people, only bad ideas. Islam, at its core, is a bad idea (of course there are good Muslims, but they don’t practice the true Islamic ideals). If these people had never found Islam they probably wouldn’t have found another reason to kill people. They would have just went along like the rest of us. i'm not a doctor but i'm pretty sure running over pedestrians isn't a treatment for cholera

I'm sure people thought the same thing about Catholicism during the Spanish Inquisition.

i doubt that. the Inquisition was aimed at Jews who were suspected of being fake Catholics to avoid being expelled from Spain
