I liked Linkin Park, and the dude had a good voice, it's a shame he's gone. :(

Leaves behind 6 children. That's gotta be rough. Never really liked Linkin Park much except maybe for that one instrumental track they did for The Matrix, but still shitty news.

I started listening to them with Meteora, I think I listened to that whole album almost every single day in high school. Really liked Linkin Park, like Muse they weren't afraid to experiment and change their style. Apparently Chester was close friends with Chris Cornell, hung himself on what would've been Cornell's 53rd birthday too :(

Jesus. Pretty shocked by this.
Never considered myself a Linkin Park fan but somehow ended up listening to their albums on a regular basis back in the 00's

Same here. I forgot about them around the time I went to college, but started listening again after I got in to streaming music a few years back.

I think they were one of the best of the 00's mainstream. With the 00's mainstream probably having been the worst of the last 30 decades?.
Which does not render them bad at all, quite the opposite.

I'll petty his decision, his voice was unique.
