Anyone else watching this? I've been watching for a few weeks now and I'm hooked. It's on Friday and Saturday nights on A&E. They basically just follow around several different police departments around the country and show live action as it happens. It's pretty interesting and can be really funny. It can also get way intense. This happen last Saturday (remember, it's live):

which is what COPS, cops reloaded (repeats i think) was back in the day and FAKE, read not too long ago that COPS was staged shit for ratings.

I don't think this one was staged as I suspect some new TV game shows are...

If you have a TV show showing live-as-it-happens footage, you'll get a TV show that's

1 - Extremely boring because interesting shit just doesn't happen on a daily basis.
2 - When interesting shit happens the feed is cut because it's deemed too sensitive.

My point is, they probably just collect interesting bits of footage and edit that.

Well, they follow 6 or 7 departments in some of the most high crime areas of the country. So there is usually something always happening with at least one of the departments. They also cut back to some "earlier" moments from earlier in the week. But for the most part it is in fact live. And I'm sure they have a small delay, because they have to bleep out people's names and shit like that. But it's as live as you can get without causing all kinds of lawsuits.

The video I posted probably wasn't the best example to express the show. That was one of the most intense and heartbreaking things I've seen on there. Most of the time it's just a bunch of idiots being arrested for stupid shit. It's just a fun watch, that's all.
