A UPS driver opened fire with a handgun inside a United Parcel Service Inc (UPS.N) delivery center in San Francisco on Wednesday, killing three co-workers before fatally shooting himself as police closed in, authorities and company officials said.

The victims, like the gunman, were all company drivers, said Steve Gaut, head of investor relations at UPS. The attack unfolded as the workers were gathered for their daily morning meeting before they were due to head out on their delivery rounds, Gaut added.

One of the top Republicans in Congress, House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA), was shot and wounded after a gunman opened fire during a congressional baseball practice Wednesday morning in Northern Virginia. Scalise was hit in the hip and underwent surgery; he is currently in critical condition at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.

Four others, including a congressional staffer, a lobbyist, and two members of the Capitol Police, were also hit in the attack. The shooter, James Hodgkins, a 66-year-old from Illinois, was taken to a hospital after being shot by police during the attack and died of multiple gunshot wounds to the torso, FBI special agent Tim Slater Wednesday.
The UPS shooting has been completely overshadowed by the congressman being shot, naturally, and the GOP is already blaming liberal media and Bernie supporters. GG.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — A lone gunman who was reportedly distraught over President Trump’s election opened fire on Republican members of the congressional baseball team at a practice field in this Washington suburb on Wednesday, using a rifle to shower the field with bullets that struck four people, including Steve Scalise, the majority whip of the House of Representatives.

Hmmm... Wonder why the GOP would blame Liberals? :tard:

Sure does seem like something Liberals would do if it were the other way around.

Pretty sure though.

determining blame is far more important than addressing the issue, i agree.

it's important that we politicise events as quickly as possible so as to create drama that distracts from the actual causes of the events

optics > reality
